Who looks after your data?
The administrator of your data is Sejmometr Media, based at ul. Floriańska 28 in Krakow. We have been operating since 2019 and we maintain order in documents just as we do in our parliamentary tables. The main person responsible for data in our team is Marek Wiśniewski. We only collect the information we need to prepare a lobbying report or MP attendance statistics for you. We are not interested in your private affairs, only specific cooperation in analyzing political facts. We do everything in accordance with GDPR regulations, but we write about it in human terms. Without political jargon that no one understands. Your trust is important to us because in our industry, credibility is the foundation. If you have any questions, feel free to write to our Krakow address or call directly at the number provided on the website.
What do we know about you?
When you use our statistics database, we collect two types of information. The first is the data you enter in the contact form – usually your name, email address, and information about what numbers interest you. The second type is technical data, i.e., cookies. We use them so that our dark themes and green charts display quickly on your screen. We do not profile you or track your every step on the web. Our system only checks which tables are downloaded most often. Last month, we recorded 187 such downloads, which helps us plan further analyses. The server also records standard logs, such as IP addresses, which is a normal procedure when handling 14 different parliamentary registers. This all helps us keep the service in good technical shape around the clock.
Why do we save it?
We need your data mainly to send you the ordered report within 48 business hours. If you request a quote for a thematic analysis for 287 PLN, we need to know whom to send the finished Excel sheet to. Numbers don't lie – without a correct email address, our reports will not reach you. We also use your questions to improve our budget infographics. If 31 people ask about the same region in Małopolska, we know we need to prepare a broader expenditure analysis there. We do not send spam or offers from other companies. We usually store your data for 3 years from the last contact. This is a safe period that allows us to return to old reports if you need to compare historical data from the previous term of the Sejm.
Your rights to your data
You have full control over your information. At any time, you can write to Anna Mazur or Marek Wiśniewski with a request to see what we have recorded about you. You can also correct this data if you make a mistake in your name, or tell us to delete it completely. We respect your decision without unnecessary questions. We respond to each such request specifically within 3.2 business hours. You don't have to fill out any complicated official forms. A short message to kontakt@sejmometr-media.pl is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection office if you think we are doing something wrong. But before you do that, let us know. We are a small team from Krakow and we always try to clarify every matter immediately, by phone or over coffee in our office.
How do we protect information?
Data security is a priority for us because we work with raw registers every day. We use SSL encryption, which ensures that your message from the form does not fall into the wrong hands. Only our team of 4 analysts has access to the database. We do not use external companies to store information; we keep everything on secured servers with regular backups. We checked this in the security tables – our procedures eliminate technical errors in 94.7% of cases. We do not spr
