Sejmometr Media Website Terms and Conditions
Effective from: February 2025
General Provisions
Sejmometr Media is an analytical service based in Krakow at 28 Floriańska Street. We have been operating since 2019 and focus on extracting hard facts from parliamentary documents. If you browse our tables or download budget infographics, you accept these rules. We do not use complicated legal loopholes here. We want everything to be as clear as our charts. Our team consists of 4 people who check 14 different parliamentary registers every day. These terms and conditions define how you can use our analyses and what we do when you order a paid report from us. Remember that numbers do not lie, but they require a reliable approach from each side. By using the website, you agree to follow these few points. You don't need a PhD to understand this text. We focus on specifics and expect the same from our users. If you do not agree to these terms, simply do not use our summaries. Everything has been prepared to support reliable journalism without political jargon.
Use of Data and Reports
All charts, tables, and infographics on the site are the result of our work in Krakow. You may browse and use them for your own analyses. If you are a journalist or blogger, you may quote our data, but please clearly state the source: Sejmometr Media. We checked it in the tables – reliable citation helps build trust in numbers and our work. Copying the entire service or using automated tools for mass data downloading without our consent is prohibited. Our original summaries, such as the analysis of 156 ballot cards, require many hours of analyst work. We respect your time, so please respect ours. We download raw data from official sources, but structuring them is our contribution. You can download a PDF report for your presentation if you pay for it according to the price list. However, you may not resell our reports as your own products. We operate honestly and provide facts that allow you to keep an eye on those in power without wasting time on manual vote counting.
Responsibility for Content
Our main task is fact verification. Every number goes through the hands of Marek Wiśniewski or Anna Mazur. Nevertheless, you must know that we rely on external data coming from official Sejm registers. If an error appears in the official protocol, we will catch it in most cases, but we are not responsible for what politicians originally entered into their reports. Last quarter, our analysts found 11 such errors in financial documentation. Sejmometr Media is not responsible for political decisions made based on our charts. We show statistics and do not indicate whom to vote for. Without political jargon – we provide the tools, and you draw the conclusions yourself. We do not guarantee that the server will work to the second during network failures beyond our control. However, we strive to ensure that access to the database is constant and stable. If you notice an error in a table, let us know. We will check it within 3.2 working hours and correct it if the facts turn out to be different.
Orders and Payments
If you need specific statistics, you can order a thematic report from us. The price for a standard analysis is 287 PLN net. The completion time is usually 48 business hours from the moment the data scope is confirmed. Only concrete data – we don't engage in fluff; we provide hard datasets in Excel or PDF format. After submitting an inquiry via the contact form, our analyst will get back to you to determine the technical details. Payment is made based on a VAT invoice after the finished sheet is delivered. You have the right to one revision in the report if we find that we missed a significant aspect of your original inquiry. We do not issue refunds after the finished file has been sent, as our analytical work has already been fully completed. We treat every order seriously, regardless of whether you are from a local editorial office or a large organization. Our process includes aggregation, verification, and visualization, which allows you to save an average of 4.74 hours of work on fact analysis.
Final Provisions
These terms and conditions may change when new features are added to our statistics database. We will always inform you on this page in advance. We try to resolve all possible disputes amicably over coffee in our office in Krakow. However, if we do not reach an agreement, the appropriate place for resolving disputes will be the court in Krakow. We apply Polish law because this is where we operate and pay taxes. Our terms and conditions are short because we respect your time and do not want to waste it on unnecessary bureaucracy. We focus on what is most important: numbers, their transparency, and reliable information for citizens. Sejmometr Media is a team of 4 people who want to improve the quality of public debate in Poland by providing facts. By using the service, you become part of this process. If you have questions about these rules, write to kontakt@sejmometr-media.pl. We will answer without unnecessary official formulas. Numbers do not lie, and clear rules of cooperation help us all work better.
