Raw Data Retrieval
Where do we find all these numbers?
Most people think parliamentary data is handed on a silver platter. That's a mistake. Information about votes or spending ends up in hundreds of PDF files that no one properly indexes. Sejmometr Media searches 14 different registers every morning, precisely at 4:15 AM. We extract hard facts from committee protocols and interpellations before politicians can forget them. Numbers don't lie, which is why we focus on raw data rather than what someone said in the evening news.
No more manual protocol reading
Reviewing a single committee meeting protocol takes an average of 42 minutes. If you want to check the activity of a specific MP over a month, you have to spend several working days on it. Our system does it automatically in the background. We checked the tables: in the last quarter, we processed exactly 318 such documents for a small analysis office. Instead of reading a 200-page description, they received a ready-made spreadsheet with an attendance list and speech time down to the second.
- We monitor 14 databases, including the register of interests and foreign trips.
- We catch amendments submitted at the last minute in finance committees.
- We categorize data according to 7 key spending categories of parliamentary offices.
No political babble or interpretation
We are not interested in promises or party programs. Our algorithm looks for specifics: who signed the list, who abstained, and how much budget money went to external expertise. Only concrete data allows for an assessment of what is really happening at Wiejska Street. Sometimes a bill changes by 180 degrees overnight. We see it immediately in the system logs of the voting system and bring it to light.
Data ready to use
Downloading data is not just about collection, but also cleaning. Typographical errors in names or mistakes in amounts often occur in official documents. Our team, currently consisting of 4 people working from the Krakow office, manually verifies every financial inconsistency above 1,200 PLN. This ensures that the statistics you put in your report are simply true. No unnecessary fluff or guesswork.
Heads-up: Our reports update faster than the official parliamentary website because we skip the manual text approval stage. We are only interested in what the electronic system outputs after voting closes at 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM.
