Inconsistency Verification

We check facts in 3 seconds

Politicians often say one thing in the media and do another on the floor at Wiejska Street. Sejmometr Media uses algorithms that compare a shorthand record with the official voting result in 3.2 seconds. In October 2024, the Sejmometr Media system detected 47 such situations where a public declaration in social media differed from the vote actually cast. Numbers don't lie because they are based on hard data downloaded directly from the Sejm Chancellery servers.

Analysis of 124 sessions per year

Our team of 4 data analysts reviews every vote to catch errors and manipulations. We don't judge intentions; we are only interested in dry facts. If an MP promised support for the small business bill on September 12 and abstained during the third reading on September 14, our system will immediately record it in the table. In the Sejmometr Media database, we currently have 83 such cases from the last two quarters, allowing for quick preparation of press material or infographics for local media.

  • Comparison of 156 key laws from 2023-2024 for consistency with the election program.
  • Detection of decision changes within a single parliamentary committee within 48 hours.
  • Automatic PDF reports ready for publication on news portals.

Specific data for editorial offices

Investigative journalists use our summaries to avoid citation errors and bias accusations. We checked the tables – manual verification of one MP takes a human about 45 minutes of tedious work with documents. Sejmometr Media tools do it for an entire parliamentary club in less time than it takes to drink a glass of water. Without political babble, we provide a summary showing who actually sticks to the promises made to voters during the campaign.

Why does this matter for your work?

Transparency is fundamental in working with public information. Our proprietary tool analyzes not only the voting results themselves but also physical presence in the room at key moments. In July 2024, we noted that 23 MPs regularly avoid difficult topics by leaving the room just before the card readers start. Only specific data allows for a reliable assessment of public figures' work, and we provide this data in a form ready for immediate use in an article or on-air.

SM-Verify Methodology

Our verification system is based on comparing keywords from parliamentary speeches with voting categorization. For example, in Q3 2024, we analyzed 318 floor speeches, matching them with 542 votes. The result is pure mathematics that eliminates the human factor and interpretative errors. We may not be the largest analytical firm in the country, but our 5-person team in Krakow delivers data faster than large news agencies while maintaining full political neutrality.
